Photo Gallery: Robotics Hosts VEX Prep

The 2026 robotics scrimmage was held at Oakmont Regional High School on March 5. The event featured a matchup between teams from Oakmont and Gardner High School. In total, 14 teams participated in the scrimmage, with seven teams representing each school. The event lasted the entire school day and consisted of 60 rounds of competition. The rounds are split into two secretions; the first section is 15 seconds long, which is autonomous. The second section consists of 1 minute and 45 seconds being teleoperated.

Audrey DesBois, Reporter

Audrey DesBois is part of the Class of 2027 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her first year as a reporter and photographer for The Oakmonitor. Audrey is a member of the Oakmont field hockey team. Outside of school, Audrey plays field hockey for Evolution. She is also an ambassador for Baystate games and the brand Hocsocx. During her free time, she enjoys babysitting and attending college clinics to get experience and meet new people within her sport. Audrey wants to pursue a career in nursing and also hopes to play field hockey collegiately. She is excited to learn more while participating in The Oakmonitor.

Gabby Comeau, Reporter

Gabby Comeau is part of the Class of 2027 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her third year being a part of The Oakmonitor. After school, Gabby dances at FreeForm Dance Academy. Gabby has been dancing her whole life, and she lives in Westminster. In her free time, she likes to talk with friends and family, watch movies, and listen to music. She enjoys being at the beach, traveling, dancing, and writing. Gabby loves the summer, shopping, and spending time with her dog, Myles. She is excited to learn more while participating in The Oakmonitor.
