The Medical Science Society Hosts Career Day

The Traveling Nurse teaching students what her job encapsulates!

On Wednesday, April 8th, the Medical Science Society hosted its first-ever Career Day! Interested Oakmont students were invited to sign up and visit the event. Visiting health professionals shared valuable information for those with medical ambitions. Volunteers discussed the details of their everyday routine, what their jobs encompassed, and how they got into the profession.

Finley Catlin is a part of the Class of 2027 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her third year being a part of The Oakmonitor. In the spring, she participates in varsity softball and attends as many sports games as she can throughout the year. Over the summer, she works at her family’s dairy farm, packing cheese orders to ship across the country. When she can get free time, Finley enjoys making bracelets, baking, taking road trips, or taking a nap. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going on late-night walks, and having movie nights. She is very thrilled to contribute to The Oakmonitor this year.

Nadalee Madhere, Reporter

Nadalee Madhere is a part of the Class of 2027 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her second year as a reporter for The Oakmonitor. She is also in charge of the Daily Announcement Marquee at the top of The Oakmonitor page. Nadalee is a member of the varsity cheer team, Prom Committee, NHS, and Medical Science Society. She is also the president of the junior class. In her free time, she enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time in nature. She is very excited to contribute to The Oakmonitor this year.
