On Friday, May 8, the annual North Central Chamber Foundation’s Scholarship Breakfast took place at great wolf lodge. The Chamber Foundation and its donors fund a program that awards close to 40 annual scholarships to high-achieving local high school seniors and students pursuing higher education or vocational training.
This year two Oakmont students, Mikaela Groncki and Cam Scerbo, had the honor of being awarded with scholarships. They were introduced alongside many of the area’s most inspiring and passionate youth. Mikaela Groncki – who will be attending the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School – received the annual McCarty Engineering Non-traditional Scholarship; and Cameron Scerbo, who will be attending the University of Vermont, received the Roderick W. & Donna M. Lewin Scholarship.
Congratulations to Mikaela, Cameron, and all of this year’s foundational scholars as they embark on their higher education journeys this fall.
