Brostrom and Cleaves Take on the Meet of Champions!

Last Friday and Sunday, May 29 and 31, the Oakmont track teams competed in the Division 5 State Meet at Bridgewater State University. Among various medalists, athletes Jayden Brostrom and Jocelyn Cleaves placed 1st in the boys’ 800m and girls’ pole vault, respectively, becoming Division 5 state champions!

Today, June 4, Brostrom and Cleaves travel to the Massachusetts Meet of Champions at Merrimack College in hopes of bringing home another medal. Brostrom is in the top 32 qualifying times for the 800m and Cleaves is in the top 16 for pole vault heights. Good luck state champions!
