Explanation of Piece: I like doing pictures that include depictions of the dress I’m wearing, because it’s the first original fashion piece I ever created. 

Who/what inspires your art? 

I find inspiration from almost anything. But specifically, I would say that a lot of it comes from history and fantasy. Whether it’s historical corsets, gold baroque picture frames, or a book. 

Are there any artists that you look up to or admire? 

An artist I look up to is Hayley Paige. The wedding dress designer that used to be on “Say yes to the Dress.” I got the chance to interview her for an AP English project. She is the most positive person I have ever met. Not to mention, her skills as a fashion designer are amazing. 

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 

In 5 years, I see myself as an art school graduate, with a degree in fashion design. Hopefully, I will have a job at that point as well. I will most likely be working for a company as a stylist, to gain experience in the industry. However, I see myself with my own label in the future, and being a head fashion designer.
