Angela Lombardo, Journalist
Angela Lombardo, class of 2021, is a journalist for The Oakmonitor. This is Lombardo’s first year as a part of The Oakmonitor, however, she has always been involved in writing and it has become one of her passions. In 2020, she won a Silver Key and an Honorable Mention in the Scholastic Writing Contest with a few pieces she wrote in the creative writing class at Oakmont. Though she has won awards in creative writing, Lombardo’s real favorite thing to write is journalism and she plans on going to college for fashion journalism, hopefully in New York City. Which is why most of her articles are fashion related, Lombardo’s goal is to highlight important things going on in the fashion industry and bring a little style to Oakmont. When Lombardo isn’t writing or thinking about clothes she’s usually listening to music or hanging out with her friends. However, her love for writing is always there.
