Oakmont’s National Honors Society Welcomes New Members

On Monday, October 3, 2022. The National Honors Society inducted 40 new members of selected juniors and seniors. The ceremony included many speakers such as Principal Lizotte, NHS advisor Mrs. Stefanakos, and NHS president Isabella Moran. 

The National Honors Society is a representation of the 4 pillars. Scholarship, Character, Leadership, and Service. Each Inductee wrote a short piece and spoke on someone who has influenced them to get them where they are today. The induction ended with the swearing-in of the new members by repeating the National Honors Society pledge.
